How to Delete a Learning Object

Learning is a fast changing field, and making updates to your Lessons in Tortal is easy! If you find yourself needing to remove a Learning Object, the process is straight forwards. 

How to Delete a Learning Object

1. Navigate to the Learning Object Area. 

The Learning Objects Area can be found by clicking the mceclip0.png button in the main menu bar, and the mceclip1.pngitem in the dropdown.\

In the "Manage Content" section, click the Learning Objects link.

2. Select Content to Delete.

Each Type of Learning Object has its own Deletion control  inside its Content Management Area. The Exception is that ILT & SCORM Lessons are Grouped together in the SCORM Lesson Control Area.

Video, Checklist, & Document Learning Objects - 

These Learning Objects have Deleteion Controls built into their Respective Content Management Areas. 

The Video Type lessons Area illustrated below.

For SCORM/ ILT Learning Objects - 

On the Learning Objects page, Click the Add/Edit SCORM Content block.

Choose the Delete Lesson radio button

and click Next mceclip6.png

 

Tips:

  • You may search for a specific Lessons by using the browser "Find" feature ( Ctrl+F ) 
  • You may Select a Group by holding Shift+clicking two courses
  • You may Select multiples by Holding Ctrl+ Clicking your selected Lessons

You will receive a Confirmation page before any Lessons are Removed

*** WARNING: Deleted Lessons CANNOT BE RESTORED ***

Click Finish to Confirm   mceclip12.png
